Co-parenting guides

Guides for co-parents

Plain-language guides to the schedules and decisions separated parents work through, with examples you can adapt to your own parenting plan.

Before you ask

About these guides

Are these guides legal advice?

No. They describe arrangements many families use. Your parenting plan or court order decides what applies to you, and a family-law attorney in your state can advise on your situation.

Who writes them?

The ParentPact team, the people who build the co-parenting app. Each guide shows the date it was last updated.

Can I keep our schedule in ParentPact?

Yes. The shared calendar has built-in week on/week off, 2-2-3 and alternating-weekend rotations that one parent proposes and the other accepts, plus holiday and vacation events.
